Breaking News. Tellef finally won a bet!

Today, it was time to clean our beautiful fish tank. In true Betsson spirit, we gambled to decide who was going to clean it. It ended up being the Casino teams job.

So, while doing this, another bet was born out from nowhere. Tellef was going to eat one of the fishes for €100. A task he actually managed to complete!

Betsson Training Challenge

It's time again for the Betsson Training Challenge. Basically this challenge is to get as many in the company on the treadmills as possible. Not that we need it.... Or yes, we actually do need it.

Last time we had about 130 of our ~600 employees who managed to work out 3 times a week for 6 weeks, which was the goal. I put my soul in to this competition and did actually win it, which I'm very proud of.

This time the challenge is 10 weeks. There will be blood, sweat and tears, literally.

Last time I burned an average about 1600 Kcal a day, 7 days a week for 6 weeks which is about 2 hours of high intensity training. I have no idea how I made it but hopefully I will not die this time either.

Dublin this weekend, preperations for the Norwegian Championships In Poker

At the airport right now waiting to fly fabulous Ryan Air to Dublin. It's my first date together with this lovely city and i'm looking forward to see what it has to offer.

The Norwegian Championships in poker starts the 24th of march and is expected to have about 800-1000 participants, which is truly remarkable. Betsson is counting on sending about 200-250 players. The Norwegians really love their championship and year after year it's a big success. Sweden has a lot to learn with a embarrassing 56 participants in Riga last year during the Swedish championships.

This weekend me and Tom will go to Dublin to prepare for this event to ensure that we give all our players a great event. We see this as probably our most important poker event of the year!

If you haven't seen this documentary yet, please do. Seriously, this will be the best 30 minutes spent in a long time.

This is the story of Joseph Kony, the Ugandan rebel group LRI (Lord's resistance army) leader. He has the blood of 30,000 men, woman and children on his hands. He is number one of the international criminal Court list of wanted criminals due to his brutal acts. But no one knows who he is, the outside world doesn't care.

The goal of the video is through the viral power of the internet have this man arrested before 2012 ends. It's important to remember that this isn't just about Joseph Kony. This is also about the new rules of the game, where the new way of sharing information through the internet and the big flow of information we get exposed to actually can make a difference. If this experiment succeeds, it's the ultimate proof of the new order, where the voices of small people are the loudest ones, where we can stand together and both highlight and fight injustice in the world through social media. 

It would be a victory for both democracy and humanity.
