The three boys Erik, Roope and Marius decided to do a beard bet when intoxicated. These ideas really only comes up under the influence of alcohol it seems like.
Basically, they have put a sum of money each in the pot, the one who shaves the last wins that money.
Let me just explain some things here that these boys probably hasn't thought of. Malta gets extremely warm and very moist during the summer. With that climate, I wouldn't be surprised if a colony of new species started to grow in the beard. It will be extremely warm and extremely annoying when swimming in the ocean for example. And not to mention that this weekend is probably their last chance of looking like decent human beings.
Now, Erik has an advantage towards Roope in that Erik actually looks good in a beard, compared to Roope who will first go from decent to homeless, to rapist to murderer.
